Janjua, ASA/WISHH/PK)ASA’s World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (WISHH) program, through the U.S. Department of Agriculture-funded FEEDing Pakistan program, is supporting the production of high-protein floating fish feed in Pakistan. The feed, produced by WISHH private sector partner Oryza Organics, is made with imported U.S. soybean meal and is the first of its kind to be produced locally in Pakistan.Oryza has also introduced labeling to the bags of feed the company sells; Oryza is one of the first to include ingredient compositions on their labels – the dairy and poultry feed industries in Pakistan do not include ingredient compositions on bags of feed.
